Art restorer: a job driven by passion
Yolaine Voltz devotes totally her scientific, technical and artistic skills to globes and fans. According to her, «It is never too late to restore them!»
In her workshop L’Utile Zephyr, she adapts the most recent restoration discoveries to traditional techniques in order to provide the best care for the works she is entrusted with.
The workshop takes its name from one of the terms used in France in the 18th century to name fans. Zephyr being the personification of a gentle west wind in Greek mythology…
